Delicious avocado 'cuke', nutty flavour, buttery texture, thin skinned, Salt Spring grown! Yum!
A 'cuke' is an avocado which hasn't developed its seed. It tastes the same, is tiny and ripens a couple of months earlier than the fully developed fruit. I've had both 'cukes' and a fully fertilized fruit on the same tree. The trees are still young so every fruit is cherished!
