I just came in from the greenhouse after counting ripe citrus varieties and the total is 19!
The first workshop of the year will include fresh citrus tastings of all 19 for the discerning, and developing palate.
We'll also sample home-preserved and dried sub-tropical jujubes, figs, candied citrus and limoncello.
Seeing how different varieties grow, produce and taste, under Canada's less than ideal growing conditions, will help inform participants in their own plant selections.
