Passiflora edulis Plants

sold out

More plants will be available in July.

1 gallon pots

$20.00

The plants are propagated from two plants (of 40) that survived three winters on Salt Spring with temperatures as low as 1C. They are highly productive with gorgeous flowers and delicious purple fruit. The original plants were germinated from fruit imported from Cameroon.  They start flowering in May and continue through the summer. Having a soft brush handy to pollinate the flowers will ensure fruit formation.

They grow best with good sun exposure, regular watering and fertile soil. They need to be protected from freezing and don't like saturated soils.
